2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  Account information — your email address, collected when you sign up. We use email-based magic link authentication, so no password is stored.

  Job preferences and profile data — skills, opportunity preferences, notification settings, and scoring mode selections you configure in the app.

  Usage data — which jobs you view, interact with, or mark as relevant. This is used to improve scoring accuracy for your profile.
• ▹
  Payment information — billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only basic subscription status information from Stripe (e.g., active, cancelled).

  Push notification tokens — if you enable push notifications, we store a device token to deliver alerts to your browser or device.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• ▹ Provide and operate the Vibeworker service.
• ▹ Score and rank Upwork jobs against your profile.
• ▹ Send you job alert notifications (push and email).
• ▹ Process subscription payments via Stripe.
• ▹ Respond to support requests.
• ▹ Improve the service — for example, refining our scoring models based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their marketing or commercial purposes. Period.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate the service:

  Vercel — our hosting and deployment platform. Web traffic is routed through Vercel's infrastructure. (Vercel Privacy Policy)

Each of these providers processes data only as necessary to deliver their respective services and operates under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

6. Cookies

Vibeworker uses session cookies to maintain your authenticated state. These are technically necessary to log you in and keep you logged in as you navigate the app. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use third-party analytics cookies that track you across other websites.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• ▹Access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• ▹Deletion — you can request that we delete your account and all associated data.
• ▹Correction — you can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• ▹Portability — you can request an export of your data in a common format.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (for example, financial records for tax purposes).

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and use of managed infrastructure providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify active subscribers by email.
